Whistle While You Work - Shirt Series Part 28

Posted

Laborers have been singing tunes while they work for centuries, and for good reason. Music while performing a task builds unity and improves productivity. Turbochargers operate in a similar fashion by integrating with the engine to utilize exhaust gas to drive a turbine for more power. The sweet, sweet whistle of a turbocharger in concert with the whirring of the tires plays the melody that keeps America running: a Big Rig's chorus. So once you hear that turbo strike its note, you know it's time to rock-n-roll!

Hammerlane's Whistle While You Work shirt is a tribute to the dedicated men and women who serve as operator and conductor. The turbos on the back dance to the beautiful harmony that's created when you whistle while you work. How old were you when that whistle first caught your ear? Be sure to let us know on social media with the hashtag #hammerlane

Truckers have a lot in common with our cowboy ancestors. Mounted upon trusted, diesel-hungry steeds of chrome, the grueling lifestyle of wrangling hauls echoes the expeditions made by Texas cattle ranchers of the 19th century. A constant balancing act, Cattle Hoarders tread a fine line between the weight of their cattle and the speed at [...]

Against The Grain - Shirt Series Part 24

In the heartland of America, people like to do things a little bit differently. Work doesn't start at nine and end at five. It starts when it needs to and ends when the job is done, even if it means walking into a headwind while swatting the tumbleweed out of the way. Mother Nature doesn't [...]

CHICKEN THANG - SHIRT SERIES PART 23

Before we had the digital alarm clock, there stood the rooster. Chickens used to set the tone for the morning by getting everyone to the breakfast table right as the sun cracked the horizon, and to top it all off, they’d always have some delicious eggs ready for a proper country omelet. Even though the [...]

KWHOPPER - SHIRT SERIES PART 22

A nickname can say a lot about something or someone. You can earn one yourself from a legendary night out with friends, or secretly use one for the motorcycle you’ve been working on rebuilding for years (It’s Carol, we won’t tell anyone though.) With Kenworth trucks, they’ve earned their nickname through years of being large [...]

Addicted to Diesel - Shirt Series Part 21

An engine burning hot and clean is a beautiful thing [...]

Eat. Sleep. Drive. Repeat. - Shirt Series Part 20

Eat. Sleep. Drive. Repeat. For truckers, it is so much more than a catchy saying branded on a t-shirt. For us, it is a way of life, representing and defining us. It’s a mantra shown with pride, like the callused hands of those who aren’t afraid of a long day’s hard work. Ask anybody who's been [...]

Freightshaker - Shirt Series Part 19

Sometimes you just can't shake a nick-name. Freightliner trucks have always been reliable and rugged, trusted companions you can count on, but they've never had (or wanted) the reputation for being a luxury vehicle. The FreightShaker design represents a truck that gets the job done even if it takes a little bit of rock-and-roll. The [...]
